Terms and Conditions
WERRIBEE HOCKEY CLUB MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All current Werribee Hockey Club Memberships are subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. PURCHASE OF WERRIBEE HOCKEY CLUB MEMBERSHIP
Prior to applying for WHC Membership, you must register with Hockey Victoria either as a player, administrator or spectator.
If you are successful in your Membership application, Werribee Hockey Club will ensure you are registered for the season to Werribee Hockey Club.
Members who join during the season will receive an email from Club Secretary once they have registered with Hockey Victoria or gained clearance from their previous Club. The Board of Directors will determine the adjusted price of membership. The Club reserves its right not to accept any Membership application form in its absolute discretion.
As a general policy, payment of membership must be made to the Werribee Hockey Club before the commencement of the first round of the Home & Away Season.
If you select 'Student Membership' you must be a full-time student with evidence of studying or continuing to study in that year, Evidence must be submitted to the Director of Finance.
2. TERM OF MEMBERSHIP
Subject to the following terms and conditions, your Werribee Hockey Club Membership will entitle you to the benefits of Werribee Hockey Club Membership from receipt of your Membership payment to the conclusion of the Home & Away Season. An additional payment will be required to participate in Werribee Hockey Club summer competitions.

4. REFUND POLICY
As a general policy, Werribee Hockey Club Memberships are non-refundable. Requests for refunds may be made in writing and are at the discretion of the Club's Board of Directors.
5. CANCELLATION POLICY
The Club reserves its right to cancel a member's Werribee Hockey Club Membership without a refund where that member is deemed by the Club to have breached these terms and conditions.
6. VARIATION TO WERRIBEE HOCKEY CLUB MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Werribee Hockey Club may, from time to time where necessary vary the terms and conditions of Werribee Hockey Club Membership. Werribee Hockey Club will communicate any change to its membership terms and conditions via the Club website and/or email. Members will have no claim against Werribee Hockey Club by reason of any change made to the terms and conditions of Werribee Hockey Club Membership.
7. WERRIBEE HOCKEY CLUB MEMBER BEHAVIOUR CODE OF CONDUCT
While barracking and supporting Werribee Hockey Club is a vital part of the game, offensive or aggressive behaviour (including abusing and swearing when dealing with Officials, Werribee Hockey Club Coaches/Administrators/players, HV or other opposition club members or spectators), will not be tolerated. Werribee Hockey Club Members who consume alcohol on a match day, any Werribee Hockey Club function or representing Werribee Hockey Club are to do so responsibly. Drunkenness will not be tolerated as defined in our Alcohol Policy.
Werribee Hockey Club Members who breach the behaviour code of conduct may face penalties including cancellation of Membership without refund. Werribee Hockey Club has a strong stance on vilification and has a zero-tolerance for members or supporters that abuse the opposition, opposition supporters, or umpires on grounds of race, religion, gender and sexuality.
8. FINES AND DAMAGE
Where a member of the Club by negligence or refusal of duties incurs a fine to the Club from any Association that the Club is affiliated with, then that member shall be liable for the total cost of the fine incurred. Where a member of the Club, through negligence, loses or damages Club-owned equipment, that member shall be liable for the cost of the replacement or repair of the equipment. Any breaches will be determined by the Werribee Hockey Club. Werribee Hockey Club has the right to cancel memberships with no refund.
9. VOTING RIGHTS
An applicant for Ordinary Membership, 18 years or above, who pays the annual membership fee, is automatically eligible to be registered as an Ordinary Member of the Werribee Hockey Club subject to Board approval and thus has voting rights at General Meetings, including the Annual General Meeting.
10. CONSTITUTION RIGHTS
All Members of Werribee Hockey Club are bound by the Werribee Hockey Club Constitution.
