Who am I?
Mick Condon, I have been part of the club since I was 9 years old, coached both junior and senior teams and have been involved with the social committee. Still currently playing in the senior reserve team.
How many years have you been at Werribee Hockey Club?
Off and on for 35 years. Got introduced to the club through my uncle, Paul McMillan (Dougie). When the club was based at the Werribee Racecourse
What is the best part of Werribee Hockey Club?
The family feeling around the club and the mateship I have formed over the years
Which position do you play on the field?
Generally forward, normally the back line gets a bit nervous when I'm required to help them out
What is your most memorable moment playing hockey?
Watching my 3 children playing their debut games for the club and then my 2 eldest daughters playing their first senior games.
When you have a sausage sizzle, does the onion go below or above the sausage?
Has to be above. Then topped off with tomato sauce.
