We are Werribee!
“We’re strong and we’re bold” – and we certainly need to use these strengths in this time of ongoing change.
3 weeks ago, we were celebrating a return to hockey – which unfortunately didn’t last long.
We now know that we will not return to hockey until at least the 3rd September. I am not sure what this will mean for our competitive season, but I can assure you the Board is working hard to find ways for us to stay connected and as soon as possible get some form of hockey going. Hockey Victoria has scheduled a Forum for Presidents on 25th August – hopefully there will be some clarity after that meeting, if not before. I will keep you up to date as soon as I know.
Keep you eyes on the Facebook page for an upcoming online activity – sure to be fun and a way to at least see each other, albeit on a screen.
We are looking at planning some form of End of Season activity, summer hockey and other opportunities to ensure we all stay connected. You’re welcome to share any ideas you have with the Board.
We know many of you are facing challenges other than not playing hockey. Our thoughts are with you.
