Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians
Werribee Hockey Club recognises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first Peoples of Australia. We acknowledge the Wadawurrung People as Traditional Owners of the lands on which we call our home and where we get to play hockey. We also acknowledge their neighbours the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation. We pay respect to the Wadawurrung and Bunurong Peoples, their Ancestors and Elders who always have, and always will, care for Country and community today and for future generations.
